This theory is very recent and based on the study done in University of Chicago in December 2004 which claims that the development humans is an event rather than an evolution a very very Special Event.
Genes that is regulator of the magnitude and complication of the brain have experienced much more fast fruition in humans than in non-human primates and other mammals as per the new study by Howard Hughes Medical Institute researchers.
The enhanced evolution of these genetic factors in the human ancestry was speciously driven by sturdy choice. In the ancestors of humans, having larger and more compound brains seems to have carried a predominantly large benefit, much more so than for other mammals. These qualities allowed Humans with “better brains” to leave behind more progenies. As a result, genetic mutations that shaped larger and more multifaceted brains spread in the inhabitants very quickly. This led eventually to a dramatic “flying up” of evolution in genes controlling brain size and intricacy.
In the words of Lahn –
The researchers focused their study on 214 brain-related genes, that is, genes involved in controlling brain development and function. They examined how the DNA sequences of these genes changed over evolutionary time in four species: humans, macaque monkeys, rats, and mice. Humans and macaques shared a common ancestor 20-25 million years ago, whereas rats and mice are separated by 16-23 million years of evolution. All four species shared a common ancestor about 80 million years ago.
Humans have extraordinarily large and complex brains, even when compared with macaques and other non-human primates. The human brain is several times larger than that of the macaque—even after correcting for body size—and “it is far more complicated in terms of structure.
Conclusions out of this theory are-
• Humans shared common ancestors and qualities with some other species.
• It was only human which has seen a very rapid development in terms of brains as compared to his peers.
• This evolution of brain had taken place in relatively in a small span of time if compare to the emergence of Human.
• It can be a sort of Big Bang inside brain which has led it grows bigger and complex which might be in a slow pace but is still continuing today also.
• Again Human brains grow unnaturally as nature treats each species equally on cardinal attributes and if someone is unnatural in planet earth than that is Man.
• If any special event took place then again it has a very special purpose or cause for it to happen.
• What was the purpose or cause behind the rapid evolution of Human brains?
Therefore we have seen what the science and scientists and research scholars has to say about the evolution of Humans now let us move towards the various mythological tales about the origin of Humans, you may find it odd but strangely it has some sort of connection with the scientific theories and at the same time a unique claiming point of their own.
